How does coaching work on GetFitGetBetter?

Your coach is a real person who is on-call to support you. They'll message you often, build a new training plan for you each month, and respond in real-time as you need changes or have questions. Once you join Getfitgetbetter you'll schedule an assessment with the coach, which is conducted over video. On the call, you can get to know your coach and discuss your preferences and goals. You'll also video call as agreed with your coach regularly, and you will be able to schedule the follow-ups consequently.

Can I talk about my preferences and goals with anyone?

Of course, during the assessment and every time you speak with the coach, feel free to ask about any goal or doubt you may have.

What if I have an injury or special needs?

If a medical professional has cleared you for exercise, then working with a personal coach can be highly beneficial for preventing or managing many common chronic conditions and injuries. Your Getfitgetbetter coach will design safe, effective workouts that meet your specific needs. How do I cancel or pause membership?

We'd love the opportunity to make things right and improve your experience. If you are having issues or would like to share feedback, cancel or pause the subscription, please contact us at info@getfitgetbetter.co.uk and we will guide you through. You can cancel your subscription at any time, though by canceling the payment scheduled.

How do I permanently delete my Getfitgetbetter account?

To permanently delete your Getfitgetbetter account, please email info@getfitgetbetter.co.uk with the subject "Please permanently delete my account and associated data" and include the email address and phone number of your Getfitgetbetter account in the email. Bear in mind some of the data of your payments is stored by Paypal and Lopay and you should follow their instructions to do so. We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days

What if I don’t have a gym membership or home gym?

No problem! Your coach will create your custom workout plan with your unique situation in mind. Your workouts will be designed around your location and the equipment you have available - whether you are at home with no equipment, working out in a gym, or modifying your routine on vacation!
Your coach can include outdoor runs and group fitness classes as well. Their goal is to create a convenient and realistic training plan that you can stick to. In case you are opting for unperson sessions, the appointments will be agreed upon.

How will the coach track my progress?

Regular online follow-ups within the membership features will help to progress. If you have a smartwatch, simply sync it with your Getfitgetbetter app. Your coach will use the data from the smartwatch to get detailed insight into your workouts and daily activity level.

What kind of time commitment do I have to make?

Getfitgetbetter is designed to fit into your schedule — not the other way around. Your coach will design and schedule your workouts based on what's realistic for you and can make changes during the online sessions to accommodate your busy life.

Can I pause the membership for less than a month?

We do not offer the option to pause for less than one month. If you're expecting a short term change in your routine or heading on vacation, just let your coach know! They can adapt your workouts to fit your changing schedule so that you can continue working toward your goals.
